Job summary

IMCO Construction in the Northwest seeks a Heavy Civil Construction Superintendent to lead field operations across Washington and Idaho. You will supervise craft workers, drive safety culture, manage schedule and budget, and mentor Assistant Superintendents and Foremen on a major civil project.

The role requires 10+ years of field leadership, strong communication, and the ability to travel between states. IMCO offers competitive pay, benefits, and a discretionary bonus program.

Qualifications

• 10+ years managing field operations on civil projects.
• Proven ability to lead craft teams and coordinate subcontractors.
• Experience with crane operations rules in WA/ID.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and driving a company vehicle.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background checks required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise craft workers focusing on safety, quality, productivity, and schedule.
• Mentor Assistant Superintendents and Foremen.
• Develop and update baseline schedules with Field/Project Engineer.
• Drive the project schedule in the field and coordinate with crews.
• Interface with subcontractors and enforce IMCO safety program.
• Lead weekly safety meetings and toolbox talks.
• Maintain material and equipment requirement schedules.
• Attend cost and production meetings and Owner meetings.
• Ensure compliance with crane rules and relevant policies.
