The position entails pre-shift inspections, equipment maintenance, and flexibility to work various shifts, including days, nights, and weekends, as needed.

Qualifications

• Must complete pre-shift inspection report.
• Must work irregular shifts including nights and weekends.
• Must read/write and communicate in English.
• Must perform basic math and read gauges.
• Ability to operate large power equipment safely.
• Ability to plan, organize, and maintain records.
• Self-starter with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile equipment including graders, track mobiles, and haul units.
• Perform daily pre-shift inspections; report needed repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance and notify coordinator.
• Follow MSHA/OSHA safety rules and company policies.
• Provide relief in other plant operations such as rail unloading, maintenance, quality control, and scale house.
• Maintain quality of all products and housekeeping.
• Assist with equipment repairs and maintenance as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
