Job summary

Amcor Flexibles, LLC is seeking a Warehouse/Forklift Operator to uphold safety standards and ensure efficient shipping operations at our Goshen, IN facility. You will perform daily inspections, move product between the warehouse and storage, and use scanners to track inventory.

Priorities include safe forklift operation, adherence to health and safety rules, and timely order fulfillment. The role requires a valid CDL-A, CDL physical, forklift certification, and the ability to lift 30 lbs

Qualifications

• CDL-A license and valid CDL physical test.
• Forklift certification and safe forklift operation.
• Ability to lift 30 lbs repeatedly and lift on/off a forklift safely.
• Familiarity with JDE and other computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Model safety and follow plant rules; participate in EHS activities.
• Address hazards immediately and participate in pre-shift safety meetings.
• Inspect tractors/trailers daily and report issues to management.
• Wrap and corner board shuttle product to prevent damage during shipping.
• Move finished goods between main warehouse and off-site storage; use scanners to track inventory.
• Load trailers, put away skids, pick orders, and operate the forklift as needed.
• Assist in improving shipping efficiency with department heads.
