Berglund Construction is seeking a Safety Director to lead safety culture across multiple projects, combining strategic leadership with hands-on field engagement. The role requires a highly visible presence on jobsites and close collaboration with project teams to drive safe behaviors and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in construction safety, OSHA 500 preferred, and certifications such as CSP/CHST/ASP. Travel to operating regions is expected as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of construction safety program experience on commercial, healthcare, industrial, restoration projects.
• Ability to travel regularly to jobsites throughout Berglund's operating regions.
• OSHA 500 preferred; CSP/CHST/ASP certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and continuous improvement of Berglund's safety culture.
• Maintain highly visible presence on jobsites and audits.
• Develop, implement, and improve safety policies, procedures, and standards.
• Lead safety training initiatives and ensure required certifications.
• Investigate incidents and lead root-cause analyses; communicate lessons learned.
