Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist to advance safety excellence at its Ohio operations. You will lead safety programs, audits, investigations, and training, translating data into actions that prevent injuries while maintaining productivity.

This role requires strong collaboration with frontline teams and a hands-on safety leadership approach. You will support emergency response, ensure OSHA compliance, and foster a proactive safety culture across shifts, including days,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year in an EHS-related field or a Bachelor’s degree in EHS-related background or 6 months safety-related experience within Amazon.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations specifically 29 CFR 1910.
• Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel in a professional capacity.
• Experience maintaining confidentiality in matters involving security/personnel issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive safety programs through data-driven strategies, safety audits, investigations and risk assessments.
• Champion associate wellbeing and build partnerships to drive a proactive safety culture and incident prevention.
