The position is ideal for recent graduates or those starting a career in occupational safety, offering hands-on experience with a Texas-based leader with 100+ years in the industry.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information.
• Monitor company vehicles through the Geotab fleet management system.
• Maintain safety records and documentation.
• Track workplace accidents, incidents, and workers' compensation claims.
• Coordinate safety training and maintain compliance records.
• Serve as the company's Designated Employer Representative (DER) for the drug and alcohol testing program.
• Prepare and submit monthly safety reports, training records, and labor hours.
