State Utility Contractors, Inc. is seeking a Safety Coordinator to support and strengthen our company-wide safety program across active job sites. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with field crews, promoting safe work practices, and ensuring compliance with OSHA and company standards.

Responsibilities

• You will be involved in the daily execution of State Utility Contractors safety program across active projects.
• Conduct regular and unannounced jobsite inspections to identify unsafe conditions and behaviors
• Assist in developing, implementing, and enforcing OSHA and company safety policies and procedures
• Organize and conduct safety training, orientations, and skill assessments
• Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, incident investigations, near misses, and training records
• Serve as a point of contact between employees and management on safety matters in both English and Spanish
• Evaluate equipment and work processes to ensure compliance with regulatory and internal standards

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent (technical training or associate degree preferred)
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
