Job summary

Amteck is hiring Traveling Safety Coordinators to oversee safety for electrical trades on each job site and to perform safety audits, ensuring timely corrective actions for accidents and incidents.

The role requires extensive OSHA knowledge, prior leadership of safety efforts, and current OSHA 10/30 (OSHA 500 preferred) certifications, with per diem and benefits provided.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations in regards to construction
• Prior experience overseeing the safety for electrical tradesmen
• Ability to effectively lead, influence, and motivate staff in regards to safety procedures
• Current OSHA 10 and/or 30 Hour Certification required; OSHA 500 strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee the safety of all electrical trades on each job site assigned
• Perform safety audits and take corrective action for accidents and incidents
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure OSHA compliance on travel assignments

We are currently hiring Traveling Safety Coordinators to join our team. Our Safety Coordinators are responsible for overseeing the safety of all electrical trades on each job site they are assigned to support as well as perform safety audits and take the appropriate course of action for any accidents and/or incidents that occur.
