Job summary

Amteck is hiring Traveling Safety Coordinators to oversee the safety of electrical trades on each job site, perform safety audits, and take corrective actions for incidents. This role participates in maintaining our high safety standards across projects through proactive leadership and advocacy for best practices.

The ideal candidate will have extensive OSHA knowledge for construction, experience with electrical trade safety, and current OSHA certifications (10/30); OSHA 500 is preferred.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations in regards to construction.
• Prior experience overseeing safety for electrical tradesmen.
• Ability to effectively lead, influence, and motivate staff in regards to safety procedures.
• Current OSHA 10 and/or 30 Hour Certification required; OSHA 500 strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety of all electrical trades on assigned job sites.
• Conduct safety audits and take appropriate action for accidents/incidents.
• Support safety program improvements within the project teams.

We are currently hiring Traveling Safety Coordinators to join our team. Our Safety Coordinators are responsible for overseeing the safety of all electrical trades on each job site they are assigned to support as well as perform safety audits and take the appropriate course of action for any accidents and/or incidents that occur.
