Insight Global is seeking an on-site Safety Coordinator in Sterling, VA. You will support foremen in Job Hazard Analyses to ensure OSHA compliance and deliver safety training, incident investigations, and regular inspections.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in safety for construction/data centers, OSHA 10/30, and CHST/STS credentials. Bilingual Spanish is a plus as you build client trust and promote a culture of safety.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in a safety role, especially in construction or data centers.
• OSHA 10 certification; OSHA 30 before starting work.
• Training in confined space, first aid/CPR (certified) and MEWP experience.
• Bilingual Spanish preferred but not required.
• OSHA 510 credential and Safety Technician credentials such as CHST or STS.

Responsibilities

Position Overview

A client of Insight Global is seeking a Safety Coordinator to sit fully onsite in Sterling, VA. The Site Safety Coordinator supports Crew Foremen and General Foremen in developing Job Hazard Analyses to ensure OSHA compliance. This entry-level role is focused on delivering world-class customer experience and quality, and plays a key part in building trusted relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Compliance: Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal safety regulations.
• Training & Awareness: Assist in developing and delivering safety training programs.
• Incident Reporting: Investigate and report incidents, accidents, and near misses.
• Safety Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of workplace, equipment, and facilities.
• Emergency Response: Help develop emergency plans and assist during drills.
• Record Keeping: Maintain safety records and generate reports.
• Safety Committees: Participate in meetings and recommend improvements.
• Safety Communication: Create safety bulletins, posters, and newsletters.
• PPE Monitoring: Ensure proper use and availability of personal protective equipment.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to safety initiatives and process enhancements.

Compensation

$25/hr to $32/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Skills and Requirements
