Job summary

PayCruit, LLC in Madera, CA is seeking a dependable Safety Coordinator for the 2nd shift in a food manufacturing setting. This role focuses on employee safety training, inspections, incident investigations, PPE compliance, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in workplace safety, Safety Coordinator or related role preferred.
• Experience in food manufacturing or industrial environment strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety requirements; GMP or food safety experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and work independently.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct employee safety training and support ongoing safety education
• Perform routine workplace safety inspections and audits
• Assist with incident and near-miss investigations, documentation, and follow-up
• Identify workplace hazards and assist with corrective actions
• Monitor and reinforce PPE and workplace safety requirements
• Maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and other required safety documentation
• Maintain accurate safety records, reports, and training documentation
• Assist with safety drills and other workplace safety initiatives
• Communicate safety expectations and concerns with employees and supervisors
• Support the continued development and organization of workplace safety programs
• Assist with general HR/office administrative duties when safety responsibilities allow
• Perform other related duties and projects as assigned
