Safety Coordinator

Position Summary

The Safety Coordinator is responsible for supporting and advancing a comprehensive safety program across all company operations. This role ensures compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, including OSHA standards, and company policies. The Safety Coordinator conducts inspections, facilitates training, supports incident investigations, and collaborates with operational leadership to promote a safe and compliant work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote a culture of safety and accountability across all levels of the organization
• Conduct routine inspections of job sites, facilities, vehicles, equipment, and tools
• Identify hazards, document findings, and recommend corrective actions
• Perform safety audits and maintain detailed records
• Prepare reports highlighting trends and areas for improvementCoordinate and deliver safety training programs and toolbox talks
• Respond to workplace incidents and assist with investigations
• Collaborate with Operations to address safety concerns

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (spoken and written)
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a company vehicle
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of OSHA standards
• OSHA 10- or 30-Hour Certification
• CPR/First Aid Certification
• Experience in construction or landscaping environments
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office/365

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 pounds
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and climbing

Work Schedule
