Job summary

Ralph L. Wadsworth Construction (RLW) is seeking a Construction Safety Coordinator to protect workers and drive a strong safety culture on our heavy civil projects across the western U.S.

As part of a team backed by Sterling Infrastructure, you will lead site safety activities, conduct inspections, and coordinate with Risk Management to maintain regulatory compliance and incident prevention. Travel to regional jobsites is required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent field experience.
  • 1+ year of construction health & safety experience (internships count!).
  • Solid understanding of OSHA, federal, and state safety regulations.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Spanish fluency (read, write, and speak) is a strong plus.
  • Strong communicator with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Collaborative, proactive, and great at building trust across teams.
