Job summary

A&B POOL SERVICES LLC in Loveland, CO is seeking a supervisor for lifeguard operations. You will coordinate lifeguard and pool staff, ensure safety standards are met, and support in-season training and in-services.

This role involves regular pool visits, staff communications, and collaboration with general managers to plan meetings. Compensation includes a base plus commission, with a salary range of 5,000 to 15,000 USD per year, dependent on season and performance.

Responsibilities

• Red Cross Training (re-certification classes in May and as necessary later in the season to accommodate all staff needing re-certification, and potentially certification)
• track/verify certifications of employees, notifying guards when they need re-certification
• working with managers to have each pool complete in-services, one each in June and July, to brush up on guarding skills
• Audit pools on a regular basis for safety and training
• Organizing a pre-season managers' prep meeting; and
• Working with General Managers to organize pre-season Staff meetings, and monthly staff meetings at the pools.
• Pool visits approximatly a third of the days during the season primarily to monitor and assess lifeguard and pool manager issues.
• Talking with lifeguards and pool managers to assess skills and needs of staff relative to lifeguarding and daily responsibilities.
• working with guards to answer questions, correct problems and help problem solve as necessary.
