Garney Construction is seeking a Safety Coordinator to assist the Safety Manager in implementing project safety programs on site and in the office.

You will support training, maintain documentation, conduct jobsite inspections, coordinate with field supervisors on PPE needs, and help ensure signage and safety compliance. This role offers exposure to diverse projects and growth within a leading construction firm.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification required.
• USACE project experience is a plus.
• Degree in safety or construction-related field preferred.
• Construction experience or knowledge preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated and adaptable.
• Effective communication skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and Bluebeam.
• Willingness to work on a jobsite or in an office five days per week.
• Willingness to travel for job site visits and specialized training.
