Sonoco Products Company in Elmhurst, IL, is seeking a Safety Coordinator to champion a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong safety program background and possess excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities include conducting safety audits, training employees, and maintaining regulatory compliance. This role calls for an individual with a High School Diploma and 2–4 years of related experience, preferably in manufacturing. A comprehensive benefits package is offered.

This position will be ideal for a floor‑oriented people person who knows safety, OSHA, etc., and enjoys working with people to make a safety program come alive. The right candidate will have been a part of a strong safety program and will have the ability to work with operations employees and managers. They will have the patience and commitment to work hands‑on to help the entire team understand the company's commitment to safety and the need to follow the safety programs.
