Job summary

EquipmentShare is seeking a Safety Coordinator at our Corporate Headquarters in Columbia, MO. The role supports the Safety team with coordinating programs, training, reporting, and administrative processes to improve safety and compliance across functions.

The ideal candidate will be organized, proactive, and able to collaborate across departments while learning in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. This position offers growth opportunities within a technology-driven construction company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, required.
• Bachelor's degree in Safety Management or similar field, preferred.
• At least 2 years professional field experience.
• Experience with Monday.com, required.
• Past successful experience in the construction industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support safety programs, projects, and departmental initiatives.
• Assist with scheduling, reporting, documentation, communication, and recordkeeping.
• Coordinate training sessions, meetings, audits, and travel logistics.
• Maintain and update internal tracking systems, dashboards, and project tool.
• Assist with compiling and analyzing data to support team goals and process improvements.
• Partner with internal departments, branch locations, and vendors on safety-related needs.
• Help maintain policies, procedures, and training documentation.
• Support additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.

The Safety Coordinator supports the Safety team with the coordination and execution of safety programs, projects, training, reporting, communication, and administrative processes. This role works closely with multiple departments to help maintain organization, improve processes, support compliance efforts, and assist with day-to-day team operations.

This position is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, adaptable, and willing to learn.

Education and Experience
