We’re Hiring: Safety Coordinator (Drywall Construction)

GMi is looking for a bilingual Safety Coordinator who believes safety is built in the field, not from behind a desk.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys being on active jobsites, working directly with crews and supervisors, and helping turn safety expectations into real‑world execution. You’ll play a key role in strengthening our safety culture while supporting quality, production, and client confidence.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct jobsite safety inspections, audits, incident investigations, and hazard assessments
• Support GMi, OSHA, client, and OCIP/CCIP safety compliance
• Track incidents, near misses, and corrective actions to closure
• Lead safety talks and deliver job‑specific safety training
• Support new‑hire safety orientations and ongoing field training
• Partner with superintendents and foremen to identify and resolve safety challenges

• OSHA 30 required; OSHA 500 a strong plus
