EMCOR Group is seeking a Safety Coordinator for construction (mechanical) on-site in Ashburn, VA. The role supports the Safety Director and project teams, maintaining records, coordinating training, and assisting with investigations and action tracking.
The candidate will ensure compliance with OSHA requirements, manage safety documentation, and drive a culture of zero incidents on active projects.

FLSA Status: Full-Time / Exempt
Work Shift: 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. / Mon. – Fri.
SUMMARY
The Safety Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Safety Director, project teams, and project safety personnel. The position is primarily responsible for maintaining safety records, administering electronic safety systems, coordinating training documentation, updating safety plans, and preparing incident and investigation documents for review by the Safety Director. Under the direction of the Safety Director or Safety Manager, the Safety Coordinator also assists with incident investigations, root cause analysis, corrective action tracking, workplace inspections, and compliance with company policies, contractual requirements, and applicable safety regulations.
