Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene or related discipline is required.
• Certified Safety Professional designation (BCSP) preferred.
• Three years of work experience in the safety field.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical safety consulting services to internal customers. Responsibilities include hazard identification, audits, ergonomic assessments and injury reduction recommendations.
• Conduct focused site and crew observations to identify safety excellence and hazards; perform annual safety audits and self-assessments; advise management on regulatory compliance.
• Monitor and interpret federal, state, and local safety rules; propose practical compliance options in line with policies.
• Develop training content for new hire safety orientations and annual OSHA required training.
• Maintain professional expertise and participate in professional development; support safety programs and continuous improvement.
