Job summary

Aisin Texas Corporation is seeking a Safety Specialist to strengthen safety and environmental objectives across manufacturing operations in a fast-paced automotive setting.

You will report to the EHS Manager, train staff, conduct incident investigations, and drive corrective actions while ensuring regulatory compliance and hazard prevention.

The role requires collaboration with leadership and team Members, strong documentation, and a proactive safety mindset in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience related to workplace safety or environmental compliance.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and 29 CFR 1910 standards.
• Ability to conduct inspections, audits, incident investigations, and hazard assessments.
• Identify safety hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Strong organizational, documentation, and recordkeeping skills.
• Excellent communication with employees at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Safety SME and provide guidance on safety training, injury reporting, and investigations.
• Promote safe work environment through proper PPE use and policy compliance.
• Conduct and support incident investigations, identify root causes, and develop corrective actions.
• Facilitate incident investigation process with documentation, reporting, and follow-up.
• Perform safety and environmental audits on a daily/weekly/monthly cadence.
• Conduct safety inspections and support OSHA and related regulatory compliance.
• Review policies and recommend revisions based on regulatory changes.
• Partner with leadership to identify and eliminate hazards; support regulatory requirements.
• Lead or participate in safety-related continuous improvement activities.
• Maintain safety records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
