Job summary

Offen Petroleum is seeking a Manager of Safety to lead the company’s safety program and ensure DOT/Hazmat compliance across operations in Sherman, TX. You will develop and enforce safety policies, investigate incidents, and provide metrics to senior management. The role requires strong knowledge of OSHA/DOT regulations, experience in safety leadership, and CDL HazMat endorsement preferred. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience as a safety manager with DOT/OSHA knowledge.
• Valid Class A CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements preferred.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Review accidents and document outcomes with corrective actions.
• Monitor OSHA/DOT compliance and safety training.
• Maintain driver qualification files and HazMat licensing.
• Generate safety reports and metrics for management.
• Assist with site visits and driver safety meetings.
