Pay for this position is $16.83/hour. This is an hourly position.
Additional Compensation: $2.25 3rd shift differential
Position Summary: The Safety Companion II provides continuous, detailed observation and surveillance of assigned patients to maintain their safety. This dual role includes bedside observation or monitoring via audio/visual devices at off-site locations. The Safety Companion II performs light patient care duties such as repositioning, ambulating, bathing, feeding, and other activities of daily living. They record pertinent information in patient charts and communicate with the care team to ensure continuity of care. Duties may vary based on department needs and patient support requirements across all age groups, contributing to patient comfort and well-being. The Safety Companion II must maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to hospital policies.
