• Assist in controlling hazardous working conditions through interface with project management/supervisory personnel.
• Conduct on-site safety and facility audits as required.
• Involved in Safety & Quality meetings as needed.
• Help monitor and conduct investigations when a work related injury occurs.
• Maintains and keeps organized the HAZMAT area, inventory, labeling, housekeeping etc DERM requirement.
• Inspects and handles all hazardous Waste Satellite areas daily.
• Collects all dirty rags, expired chemicals and absorbent drums daily and replaces them as needed.
• Inspects the First Aid Kits weekly.

Description

We are seeking a Safety Clerk who can:

• Assist in controlling hazardous working conditions and unsafe employee activities through interface with project management/supervisory personnel
• Conduct on-site safety and facility audits as required
• Involved in Safety & Quality meetings as needed
• Help monitor and conduct investigations when a work related injury occurs
