Lutheran Village at Miller's Grant is seeking a dedicated Safety Associate (Full-Time or Part-Time) to uphold safety policies and respond to emergencies on campus. The role involves rounds, safety inspections, equipment checks, and collaboration with nursing staff to support resident care.

Responsibilities include monitoring emergency systems, directing responders, and maintaining safety documentation. Strong communication, discretion, and teamwork are essential, with a focus on resident safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential.
• Ability to respond promptly to emergencies and maintain safety protocols.

Responsabilités

• Conduct routine building rounds to inspect safety conditions.
• Operate facility vehicles per safety guidelines and document in shift reports.
• Respond to emergencies and assist nursing staff as needed.
• Monitor Pal Care emergency call system and respond to alerts.
• Operate emergency equipment such as Raizer Lift and AED as required.
• Inspect equipment, report irregularities, and correct unsafe conditions.
• Assist with snow/ice removal around exits and participate in drills.
• Transport staff or residents within campus as requested.
• Maintain video surveillance and participate in training sessions.
