Job summary

Cupertino Electric is seeking a Safety Assistant - Data Center to support the Project Site Safety Team on on-site or office-based work. You will document safety meetings, maintain training records, coordinate third-party safety training, and assist with training logistics such as cards and catering.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 3 years in construction safety support, strong MS Office skills (Excel), and excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Some college preferred.
• Three (3) years of relevant prior work experience, construction safety support role is ideal.

Posting Title: Safety Assistant - Data Center

Reports To:Manager, Project Safety

Salary Range: $21.00/hour to $27.00/hour

This position primarily involves working on-site at the project location or in office. Travel frequency and duration will vary depending on the role and project timeline.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Safety Assistant will provide administrative support for the Project Site Safety Team. The candidate will record all Safety Meetings (CEI and Site), creating copies of field paperwork, and maintaining Smart-Tag performance engagement.

ABOUT YOU

• Comfortable with online programs, and verifiable experience with MS Office suite... (must have Excel).


• Excellent communication, writing and organizational skills.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.

Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Some college preferred.

Licensure/Certifications: None required.

Experience: Three (3) years of relevant prior work experience, construction safety support role is ideal.
