The Phoenix Union High School District is seeking a Safety Assistant at NORTH HIGH SCHOOL to help maintain a safe learning environment by monitoring campus activities and enforcing safety policies. The role requires guards and staff to ensure only authorized persons are on campus and to support a positive climate.
This 9.5-month position with an hourly rate of $18.59–$19.44 depends on related experience and education.

The Safety Assistant maintains a safe learning and working environment for all students and staff on school campuses by monitoring activities and addressing safety concerns. Protects and secures all District property at the campus level.

High School diploma or GED equivalent; AND some previous experience in security or a related field preferred; OR an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Must be at least 21 years of age.
Work is performed throughout school campuses and requires exposure to various weather conditions. May be exposed to potential physical harm, contagious illnesses, and bodily fluids. Physical ability to perform all essentials functions.
