Job summary

Walmart´s Asset Protection Area Manager role focuses on protecting associate health and well‑being in a fulfillment center. You will partner with operations to build a safety culture through coaching, training, and data‑driven risk reduction.

As a people‑focused leader, you will identify hazards, implement preventive measures, and promote continuous improvement while maintaining regulatory compliance and a safe work environment for all associates at the Fort Worth facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field as listed.
• 2 years’ experience in EHS or Asset Protection in retail or supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Partner with operations to integrate safety into daily processes, ensuring a consistent focus on associate health, safety, and well‑being.
• Coach, train, and develop hourly EHS associates by setting clear expectations, supporting growth, and recognizing performance.
• Monitor and analyze safety data and trends to proactively identify risks and implement preventive measures.
• Lead and participate in safety walks, audits, and root cause analyses to identify improvement opportunities and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Develop and deliver engaging safety training programs that empower associates to recognize and prevent hazards.
• Support company initiatives to promote environmental responsibility, regulatory compliance, and ergonomic improvements.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to share best practices, celebrate success, and reinforce a culture of caring and accountability.
