Job summary

Lonestar Electrical Supply in Dallas, Texas is seeking a Safety Coordinator to design and deliver safety trainings, evaluate safety standards, and support fleet maintenance and driver management to protect staff and boost productivity.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, proven experience in training or safety coordination, strong knowledge of safety regulations, excellent communication, and proficiency with MS Office; you will collaborate with Training, Fleet, and Operations to uphold

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field.
• Proven experience as Trainer, Fleet Manager, Safety Coordinator or similar.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards, training processes and logistics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop and deliver effective training programs.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other training software.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage safety programs and policies to promote a safe work environment.
• Conduct safety training sessions on hazard recognition, emergency response, and safe work practices.
• Perform regular safety inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and develop corrective actions.
• Coordinate procurement, maintenance, and distribution of safety equipment and PPE.
• Maintain records of safety inspections, incidents, training, and related activities; prepare reports for management.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures and first aid protocols.
• Work with Fleet Manager to schedule maintenance and ensure fleet safety compliance.
• Monitor fuel consumption and use fleet data to improve safety and efficiency.
• Maintain driver records and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
