As one of the nation's largest single-source providers of lighting and electrical products, electrical services, electrical construction, and energy management solutions, we are expanding our staff and seeking a Safety & Risk Coordinator to join the FSG Electric - Kansas City team.

Job Description

As a Safety & Risk Coordinator, you will work to eliminate or control at-risk behaviors or conditions resulting from human error, equipment, and machine operations that may lead to human injury or property damage. Your responsibilities include investigating incidents involving injury or property damage, conducting site safety inspections for OSHA compliance, and training employees and supervisors on OSHA requirements and company policies.

Responsibilities
  • Travel throughout the assigned territory to inspect and verify OSHA compliance and company policies
  • Investigate reported incidents involving injury or property damage
  • Conduct or oversee safety compliance training sessions
  • Promote safe practices and policy adherence in all settings
  • Manage fleet services and company equipment administration
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

  • Associate Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, or certifications such as Certified Safety Professional or Certified Industrial Hygienist
  • At least five years of construction safety experience
  • Journeyman or electrical background preferred
  • OSHA 30 training certification preferred
  • Ability to pass drug and background screening
  • Knowledge of fleet services and equipment management preferred
  • Professional communication skills
  • Proficiency in safety tracking software and MS Office (Word & Excel)
