Ole Mexican Foods, Inc. seeks a Safety Analyst to collect, analyze, and report safety data across multiple sites, ensuring OSHA compliance and identifying trends to drive improvements.

You will work with plant operations, HR, and EHS to monitor KPIs (TRIR, DART), assist investigations, build dashboards in Excel, Power BI, and Tableau, and support audits and training with documentation. Occasional travel may be required; bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in occupational safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in safety, compliance, or EHS analyst role (preferably in manufacturing or food production).
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety reporting requirements.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Collect, analyze, and report on safety data including incident reports, near misses, injury logs, and corrective actions.
  • Monitor and track safety KPIs (e.g., TRIR, DART rates) across multiple sites to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Assist in the investigation of workplace incidents and ensure root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions are completed.
  • Develop and maintain safety dashboards and reporting tools for internal stakeholders.
  • Support audits and inspections by preparing documentation and reports related to compliance and risk mitigation.
  • Assist with safety training programs and maintain training records.
  • Ensure OSHA 300 logs and other regulatory documentation are complete and submitted accurately and on time.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the implementation of safety initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
  • Participate in risk assessments and job hazard analyses.
  • Help standardize safety processes and documentation across all facilities.

Position Summary:

The Safety Analyst supports the company’s safety objectives by collecting, analyzing, and reporting safety-related data to identify trends, track compliance, and recommend improvements.
