Job summary

Necco seeks a Safety Analyst to identify safety and risk areas across the organization. You will collaborate with operations to resolve safety concerns and serve as a subject matter expert in service processes to prevent recurrence.

You will lead holistic reviews, ensure compliance with governing bodies, and manage training and documentation, while protecting confidential information and leveraging dashboards to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s preferred in Human Services or related field.
• 3 years of experience in administrative or human services field preferred.
• Knowledge of rules, regulations, accreditation standards and licensing requirements.
• Understanding of Behavioral Health services and Medicaid Billable Services.
• Valid driver’s license and 100/300/100 Auto Insurance Coverage.
• Willingness to training and travel.
• Strong customer service and organizational communication skills.
• Self-directed and able to complete background checks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, databases, EHR, and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality, safety and risk management reviews and file reviews.
• Report non-compliance or suspected offenses to authorities per policy.
• Maintain compliance with governing bodies’ standards.
• Manage documentation for storage, edits, dissemination and training.
• Coordinate license and certification submissions with relevant teams.
• Complete corrective action plans and involve key stakeholders.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant confidentiality and data handling.
• Monitor data insights via dashboards and report results to stakeholders.
• Provide results of internal reviews to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure documentation and action items from reviews are addressed.
• Provide training and guidance on Necco processes through EHR workflows.
• Serve as subject matter expert on safety and risk management.
• Recommend new systems or changes to procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Position Summary

The Safety Analyst will work in collaboration with operations for resolution of safety concerns and serve as a consultant and subject matter expert in service-related processes to help prevent safety and risk- related reoccurrence.

The Candidate Selected Will Be Responsible For The Following

Quality, Safety and Risk Management

• Complete timely and accurate holistic file reviews in accordance with governing bodies
• Report to proper authority any incidence of non-compliance, suspicion of abuse or neglect, fraud, or any reportable offense as outlined in internal policy and procedure
• Ensure current policies and procedures in accordance with standards of governing bodies
• Manage all compliance documentation and tools as they relate to storage, edits, dissemination, and training
• Work with Contract Licensing Specialist to ensure timely and accurate submission of all license and certification applications
• Ensure the timely submission and completion of all items identified within a corrective action plan as well as inclusion of key players involved
• Maintain current knowledge and ensure compliance with statutes, rules, regulations, and any other guidelines applicable to Necco operations
• Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPPA regulations
• Monitor data insights through the utilization of performance dashboards
• Provide results of internal reviews to stakeholders

Technical Capacity

• Manage the external review process through coordination of systems access, equipment, communication, and follow-up
• Provide results of internal reviews to stakeholders
• Collaborate with staff to ensure all documentation is present and develop action items to address findings related to internal and external reviews
• Provide training and communication and guidance on “The Necco Way” through EHR workflows
• Collaborate with Necco staff to ensure standards are understood and reflected in quality of service delivery
• Serve as a subject matter expert as it relates to safety and risk management
• Prepare recommendations for implementation of new systems, procedures, or organizational changes
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Position Qualifications
