Job summary
Safety Management Group in San Antonio, TX seeks a local Safety Advisor - Owner's Rep to oversee safe operations of powerline crews in the field and on ROWs, focusing on transmission structures and conductor installation. Requires 5+ years of safety experience, transmission & distribution construction experience, a degree in Safety or related field preferred, and OSHA 30-Hour Construction preferred.
Per diem available for non-local candidates.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of safety experience in transmission and distribution construction.
- Experience with transmission and distribution construction, substation construction, new lines, access roads.
- Degree in Safety or related fields preferred.
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Course preferred.
- Transmission & Distribution experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee safety operations for powerline crews in the field and on ROWs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations during erection and stringing of structures.
- Monitor and improve safety practices for transmission projects.
