Job summary

ACE Wellness Center seeks a Transportation Supervisor to ensure youth and adults are picked up in the morning and returned safely in the afternoon. The ideal candidate is dependable with an excellent driving record and strong supervisory, communication, and detail-oriented skills.

Responsibilities include staffing, training, supervising all transportation staff, managing bus routes and schedules, and maintaining safety through vehicle inspections and records.

Qualifications

• Clean driving record; no recent traffic incidents.
• 1+ years' experience driving a school bus (training provided).
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Strong supervision and communication ability; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Staffing, training, coaching, and performance management of transportation staff.
• Direct daily responsibilities for managing all bus routes and scheduling.
• Transporting children, youth and adults to and from ACE Wellness Facility in mornings and afternoons.
• Maintain a clean, mechanically sound bus and obey traffic laws.
• Perform pre/post-route bus inspections and track vehicle use and maintenance records.
• Ensure drivers fulfill duties and routes and address safety issues.
• Discipline children when required to maintain a safe environment.
• Coordinate tracking of driver licenses, tickets and safety data; hold safety meetings.
