Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Driver to safely transport staff and children to and from school, field trips, and other locations. You will support daily center operations and help ensure the safety and well-being of children under supervision.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license, 21+ years old, CPR/First Aid or willingness to obtain, and the ability to work flexible hours. Prior transport experience with children is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current driver’s license required with no more than three moving violations in past three years.
• At least 21 years of age and able to drive center vehicles.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Able to work flexible hours and assignments.
• Good verbal, listening, and written communication skills.
• At least two years of experience transporting children preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds may be required in some classrooms or kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Safely transporting staff and children to and from school, field trips, and other locations.
• Ensure the safety and supervision of children during transport.
• Comply with KinderCare and governmental regulations regarding child care.
• Keep the Center Director informed of information regarding care and safety.
• Assist with other daily center duties as needed.
• Transport center vehicle for servicing (oil changes, inspections).
• Attend staff meetings, center events, and parent/customer meetings.
