Job summary

STA is seeking a school bus driver to safely transport students along established routes. You will work with local management, receive training, and perform daily vehicle inspections to uphold safety standards.

Requirements include a clean driving record, ability to pass a background check, and being 21 years or older with a willingness to obtain a CDL. Starting pay is $25.00 per hour, with regular safety meetings and a professional bus appearance expected.

Responsibilities

• Drive a school bus route - picking up and dropping off student passengers at established stops on the route.
• Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe operation.
• Conduct post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Attend and participate in monthly safety meetings.
• Clean bus as necessary to maintain a professional appearance and positive company image.
• Assist with field trips, activity trips and charter runs as needed.
