Job summary

Staples Advantage Canada in Austin, TX is seeking a Delivery Driver to transport and deliver office supplies on an assigned route. You will load the truck, optimize routes, and uphold safety culture while serving customers with a friendly, professional attitude.

You will use GPS and POD devices, conduct pre-trip checks, and comply with DOT requirements. The role emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and delivering on Staples' service promise daily.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver's license with a safe driving history.
• Pass DOT physical and drug screen (No THC) where legally permissible.
• Must obtain a 6-month DOT medical card.
• Basic English language skills (verbal/written).
• Overtime may be required based on business need.
• Lift up to 70lbs, push/pull up to 400lbs with equipment; occasionally 130 lbs.
• Wear safety composite shoes; must be 21+.

Responsibilities

• Transport products safely and deliver office supplies on your assigned route.
• Load your truck when volume requires; follow safe loading practices.
• Maintain safety culture and follow safe work practices.
• Organize and load product using manifest for efficient routes.
• Provide customer support and accept product returns; act as brand on wheels.
• Deliver to customers and contribute to Staples Supply Chain success.
