Job summary

TM Bus Inc is seeking a dedicated CDL BPS School Bus Driver to join our Spring Valley, NY team. You will transport students safely to and from school each day, conduct inspections, and maintain student safety and orderly conduct on the bus.

Applicants should have a CDL with P and S endorsements, a clean driving record, and be able to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background checks. Prior school bus experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• CDL with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements required.
• Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
• Must pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check.
• Prior school bus or commercial driving experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of New York State traffic laws and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and school-related activities on assigned routes.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure bus is in safe operating condition.
• Maintain order and ensure student safety and discipline while on the bus.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, school staff, and parents as needed.
• Complete accurate daily logs, incident reports, and route documentation.
• Assist students with special needs or mobility challenges when required.
