Job summary

TM Bus Inc in Spring Valley, NY is seeking a dedicated CDL School Bus Driver to safely transport students to and from school each day. You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain order on the bus, and communicate with dispatchers and parents to ensure safety and reliability.

The role requires a valid CDL with P and S endorsements, a clean driving record, and the ability to work split shifts including early mornings and afternoons.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements.
• Clean driving record with no major traffic violations.
• Must pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check.
• Prior school bus or commercial driving experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Spring Valley/NYC roadways and traffic patterns a plus.
• Patient, responsible, and dependable with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work split shifts, early mornings, and afternoons.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and school-related activities along assigned routes
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure bus is in safe operating condition
• Maintain order and enforce safety rules for all passengers on the bus
• Follow all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies at all times
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, school staff, and parents as needed
• Complete accurate daily logs, incident reports, and other required documentation
• Assist students with special needs or disabilities when required
