Job summary

Quad is seeking an experienced Saddle Stitch Operator to join our Hartford manufacturing team. You will set up and operate advanced saddle stitch equipment to produce high-quality printed products while ensuring safety, efficiency, and accuracy throughout the finishing process.

This role requires previous saddle stitch operating experience, preferably on Muller Martini 12–40 pocket stitchers or Goss 855, and you must be able to work a 12-hour compressed schedule, days or nights, including

Qualifications

• Previous saddle stitch operating experience is required.
• Experience operating Muller Martini 12-40 pocket stitchers or Goss 855 is highly preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate saddle stitch equipment according to production specifications.
• Review job tickets and production requirements before each run.
• Monitor product quality and make adjustments to maintain production standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine maintenance.
• Optimize machine performance to maximize productivity and minimize downtime.
• Complete quality inspections and required production documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with production team members to meet quality and production goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
