Job summary

Sheridan New Hampshire, part of the Sheridan Group, is hiring for a Machine Operator on the 2nd shift. You'll train on high-speed bindery equipment and join a fast-paced, team-oriented production floor with overtime opportunities and a $2,500 hiring bonus after 12 weeks.

We seek mechanically inclined individuals who can read basic instructions, operate machinery, and contribute to quality output. Competitive pay, benefits after 30 days, and a supportive safety culture are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.)
• Mechanically inclined with ability to use basic hand tools
• Able to read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Learn to operate and set up bindery equipment (cutters, folders, stitchers, and perfect binders)
• Keep machines running smoothly by making adjustments and monitoring quality
• Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
• Troubleshoot minor issues and keep production moving
• Follow safety procedures and help maintain a clean, organized workspace
