Job summary

Shriners Children’s is hiring a Supply Chain Manager for our Sacramento, CA facility. You will lead purchasing, inventory control, contracting, budgeting, and distribution of supplies while ensuring compliance with corporate policies.

Responsibilities include vendor management, capital budgeting, and coordinating with local departments and Headquarters SCM to drive system-wide improvements. On-site role with strong leadership requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 5 years in purchasing, inventory control, contracting, budgeting and distribution of supplies.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare bids with product specifications and coordinate with vendors on pricing and lead times.
• Control and maintain records of hospital equipment, receipts, transfers and disposals.
• Review inventory to prevent out-of-date items, maintain optimal levels and reduce surplus.
• Manage vendor contracts and ensure compliance.
• Oversee the Supply Chain team and set performance expectations.
• Coordinate local department interactions and capital, NRR, and service agreements.
• Ensure GPO compliance and collaborate with Headquarters SCM on system changes.
