Job summary

Rexel USA in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Branch Driver to join the Platt team. The role involves delivering electrical products and related supplies, inspecting the vehicle, and ensuring accurate, damage-free deliveries. You’ll handle loading/unloading, maintain documentation, and support branch operations as needed.

The position requires a valid license, DOT knowledge, and compliance with safety regulations. Local travel and occasional overtime are expected.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass a pre-employment and annual review of Motor Vehicle Record.
• Must obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate as required by law within 60 days of hire.
• Must not have had a suspended driver’s license for a traffic accident/violation within past 3 years.
• Must not have any at fault accidents in past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to/from customers and branch/warehouse locations.
• Inspect vehicle and complete daily inspection report.
• Load/unload material ensuring accuracy and damage-free condition.
• Follow DOT, local and state driving laws and regulations.
• Prepare orders for delivery and verify documentation (delivery receipt, packing list, manifest).
• Assist in preparing orders for delivery and returns from customers.
