Job summary

SMX seeks an experienced SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Developer to join our Solutions team in delivering budget planning and reporting solutions for federal government clients.

You will design SAC data models, stories, and analytical applications, and implement complex calculations and data actions using JavaScript within SAC. Collaboration with subject matter experts will drive high-quality, impactful solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems or related field.
• 3-5 years hands-on SAC Planning development.
• 5+ years overall in Budgeting, Planning & Reporting solutions.
• Expertise in SAC Data Modeling, Stories, and Analytical Applications.
• Proficiency in JavaScript in SAC environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication for cross-functional work.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements into detailed technical specs.
• Design, build, test, and deploy SAC solutions (data models, stories, apps).
• Develop calculations, data actions, and business logic with JavaScript.
• Configure demos and translate requirements into functionality.
• Participate in testing and defect resolution during implementation.
• Collaborate with solution architect and data integration team on design and data.
