Job summary

On Location is seeking a Travel Consultant, University Business Travel to book domestic and international travel for University of Notre Dame staff using Sabre GDS. The role emphasizes accuracy, confidentiality and compliance with PCI policies while maintaining professional client relations.

You will stay current with Sabre technology and airline program updates, manage inquiries via phone and email, and collaborate with a larger team at Anthony Travel.

Qualifications

• 3+ years travel consultant experience using the Sabre GDS to include group and international travel.
• Knowledge of general office PC-based programs, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of Concur Travel preferred.
• Strong judgment and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Book domestic and international reservations for air, ground, hotel, and rail for campus staff travel.
• Maintain prompt and accurate responses to telephone and email communications.
• Protect client data and comply with PCI policies.
• Promote travel program policies, negotiated contracts, and preferred vendors.
• Stay current with Sabre updates and airline rules.
