Job summary

Software Growth Partners, a Silicon Valley-based private equity firm, seeks a Sr Associate/VP to manage a 50/50 portfolio and investment role. You will oversee KPI tracking, value creation playbooks, and regular reporting for internal and external stakeholders, while sourcing and evaluating SaaS opportunities and conducting due diligence.

You will build detailed financial models, prepare investment memos, and support transaction execution in collaboration with portfolio teams and leadership.

Qualifications

• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills with the ability to stress test complex models.
• Experience in investments/private equity, ideally SaaS or technology-enabled services.
• Due diligence experience across commercial, financial, and operational analyses.
• Background in corporate finance, investment banking, consulting, or buy-side investing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to synthesize data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Split focus: ~50% portfolio value creation and reporting to stakeholders, ~50% sourcing and evaluating new opportunities.
• Build and review detailed financial models; perform rigorous due diligence and memos.
• Collaborate with portfolio company management and firm leadership on investment theses and execution.
