The scope, complexity, and strategic importance of the DXC Customer Community and event portfolio have evolved significantly over the past several years. The responsibilities associated with this role now extend beyond traditional event planning and logistics execution to include strategic program management, executive stakeholder engagement, customer experience design, budget accountability, cross‑functional leadership, and business outcome measurement.
As the organization continues to invest in customer engagement through executive forums, Customer Advisory Councils, customer communities, industry events, and flagship programs such as DXC Connect, the role requires a higher level of autonomy, decision‑making authority, and strategic influence than was required when the position was originally classified.
Because these programs are highly visible and closely aligned with DXC's customer engagement strategy, the role requires an individual capable of operating at a more strategic level than a traditional event coordinator or planner role.
To attract and retain candidates with the experience required to manage enterprise‑scale customer engagement programs, executive forums, advisory councils, and global event initiatives, the position should be aligned to a higher job level that reflects current market expectations and the complexity of the work.
Maintaining the historical level may limit the ability to recruit qualified candidates with the strategic planning, stakeholder management, and program leadership capabilities necessary for success.
