KBW is partnering with a technology company to hire a Senior FP&A Analyst in the Boston area. The role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial modeling to drive business performance across SaaS metrics.

Regular onsite presence is required in the Boston area; relocation is not available. The candidate should bring 3–5 years of FP&A experience and strong Excel/Google Sheets skills to deliver insights and support leadership decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 3–5 years of FP&A experience, ideally within SaaS or technology.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial modeling.
• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets skills, including dynamic modeling and sensitivity analysis.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles.
• Familiarity with SaaS business models and key revenue drivers.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication skills and ability to proactively gather information and work across departments.

Responsibilities

• Own and support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning processes.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly variance analysis and communicate key drivers.
• Develop and maintain financial models for revenue, headcount, and operating expenses.
• Track and analyze key SaaS metrics including ARR, bookings, churn, and operating expenses.
• Prepare management reporting and provide financial insights to business leaders.
• Identify trends, investigate variances, and turn data into actionable insights.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting.
• Support scenario analysis and strategic planning initiatives.
• Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
