Job summary

Neo Security, based in Boston, MA, is hiring a Financial Controller to own the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of our accounting operations as we scale. You’ll manage the close process, financial reporting, internal controls, and compliance in a fast-growing security software company.

This hands-on leader will drive month-end close, SOC 2 readiness, and system improvements while partnering with CEO, CFO, FP&A, HR, and external auditors to support fundraising and strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience with a leadership role.
• Experience in B2B SaaS or software with ASC 606 revenue recognition.
• CPA required and comfortable owning the full close process.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close with accurate GAAP financials.
• Manage day-to-day accounting and revenue recognition for SaaS contracts.
• Design and maintain internal controls and policies for a scaling business.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax advisors, and banking partners for audits.
• Partner with FP&A on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Lead and develop accounting staff as the team grows.
