Job summary

LangChain, based in San Francisco, is seeking a Financial Controller to lead accounting and financial reporting. With a strong foundation in agent engineering, the role promises an impactful career at our fast-growing company.

The successful candidate will have over 10 years of experience in accounting and finance, a CPA, and deep knowledge of GAAP. You will be instrumental in managing the financial close process and working cross-functionally across teams.

Compensation ranges from $200,000 to $225,000 annually, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, with at least 2 years in a Controller role.
• CPA required.
• Deep knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process on time and with accuracy.
• Lead our first audit and manage relationships with auditors and tax advisors.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and equity administration.
• Build and maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Partner with Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Drive improvements to financial systems and processes.

Skills

Progressive accounting and finance experience

CPA required

Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards

Experience in high-growth SaaS or technology companies

Strong knowledge of accounting systems

Improving close processes

Communication with non-finance stakeholders
